James is one of the co-founders and Directors of Sigma Games Ltd.

He set up Sigma Gaming Ltd. a game development and publishing business based in the UK and licensed by the GB Gambling Commission creating superior online games for operators worldwide. 

James is a senior executive that has been working in the gambling games sector for more than fifteen years. In that time he has been a Director of Barcrest Group Ltd a subsidiary of IGT the largest manufacturer of gaming machines and gaming software in the world. He has led the revolution of IGT’s non-casino product from traditional mechanical reel based machines to video game based content resulting in a six fold increase in operating profit. This included the development of games, platforms and hardware for networked and stand-alone gaming machines, interactive digital television, internet and mobile routes to market. He led the creation of the Barcrest community gaming concepts that have performed exceptionally well in the UK land-based markets.

He was responsible for the strategic and general management of IGT’s non-Casino Video Content and Systems business. His experience allows him to advise on strategic and tactical matters relating to all aspects of gaming technology, regulation, product, game content and development techniques and processes.

Kevin is one of the co-founders and Directors of Sigma Games Ltd. and also of Sigma Gaming Ltd. a licensed game development company based in the UK.

Kevin is a very experienced and successful games designer and senior manager. Working for many of the best Companies in the business he has been responsible for the design of some of the best performing and most innovative games in the UK.

These include:
• the concept of and initial virtual racing games transmitted to licensed bookmakers by satellite feed,
• Rainbow Riches, one of the most successful non-casino slots of all time across stand-alone and networked gaming machines, internet and mobile,
• the original suite of games for the Inspired FOBT terminals in Licensed Betting Offices,
• a suite of Category B3 and C games that established and maintained Barcrest’s No.1 position in these areas post the enactment of the 2005 Gambling Act,
• games for international jurisdictions; US, UK, Spain, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Russia, internet, mobile and interactive digital TV.

With over 30 years in the gaming industry Kevin has wide experience encompassing game design, development management, product management, operations and innovation within highly regulated jurisdictions. He was responsible for the innovation and creation of several games and concepts that the industry now takes for granted.
